Subject: The D&D thing at Freddy's

I emailed Donald at Freddy's but he hasn't replied. Does anyone know when the D&D night starts?

Drop by and pick up a monthly calendar. Should be on there.

Although I talked with one of the *shudder* dungeon masters the other day, and he seemed to imply that he didn't want it to go big-style like the knit night or karaoke. So it may be word-of-mouth only. When I find out, I'll let peeps know.

But...that... involves... leaving...my...apartment? OK, I will be there on Thursday for the RPS Smackdown so I'll get one.

If you don't mind having an orc for a valet, and a bugbear for a lot attendant, that's fine.

Maybe they can combine D&D night with RPS...

We rolled for characters on Sunday.

Our troop includes a ranger, a thief, a cleric, a druid, an illusionist, and me.

I am a first level fighter, alignment neutral-chaotic. I am equipped with chain mail, a plus-one lucern hammer, and high, hard leather boots. My name is Miss Vickers. While I might not be a very 'comely' lass (only a 9), I do have a 15 charisma, so I like to think of myself as sexy rather than pretty.

We got off to an intrepid start, managing to kill a resting group of orcs with a sleep spell followed by some head-crushing. Although it was getting hairy with the 'hoards of tiny dogmen' around the caves!

That's about the nadir of cowardly. Do you actually get experience points for that?

I argued for 'em but the DM wouldn't budge. I did take out several tiny dog men who were alive and yipping, though.

    Subject: D and D update

I'll try to get this topic back on track.

A good friend, Karl the Druid, told me a few things about the last Freddy's D + D game. After the untimelydisappearance of Trapanzee the Monk in the lair of the minotuar, they decided to keep this to the chosen few. It is now closed game. The newbies always get knocked off.

They've toyed around with a few D and D ideas. A female character that really is a female (Lady Mylar), full body contact D and D, the Three's Company plot, using Homies as playing pieces. The basic nondescript slaughter of Ork-kind for more experience points seemes to be the most popular idea.

In a more recent adventure the brave gourp of seven was sent through the Canyon of Mortal Clay (in Kings County) fighting for their lives against two Golam. Afger bathroom break and pizza no one knew what to do with declinging hit points.

That's all I can tell you, my life is in peril for saying this much. God speed hungry readers.

Does the party still include Miss Vickers? Pensodyssey seems to have dropped off the face of the earth!

    Subject: Calling Ms. Vickers

Ms. Vickers is alive and well. I just saw Vickers the other day at Freddy's picking the eyes out of a dead Ork's head, not for experience points but for grins and giggles. Vickers enjoys a good Sea Breeze.

But doesn't full body contact D and D sound really cool?! For some it's just an excuse to wear fur, but THIS has potential.
