I won't lose a wink of sleep over him. He had a violent criminal record: one less mugger, rapist, thug and killer off the street.

On the positive side, the perp cop resigned. Hence, one killer is off the force.

The officer has been arrested and charged with murder.

According to CNN his attorney said he was in Nevada because he was fearful for his safety (implication was he had been receiving death threats). Supposedly his lawyer had informed the police of his whereabouts.

according to the news, he was arrested in nevada without any fight. it's sad that a life was taken away, and im feeling sorry for the bart police too, because it seems to me it was really unintentionally done.

im in oakland right now, several blocks away from where the riot took place. yesterday my husband and i went out wanted to have dinner, most of the shops were closed, many of them were damaged too.
