    Is making 40 times the monthly rent before tax supposed to be the limit? I've also heard that rent should be no more than 3/4 of your paycheck after tax, but that seems high.

    Edit: Yes, I know this is completely off topic, but looking for apartments is what I do all day so we can pretend it is.

    True, in my above comment I was looking out for Mougie, not Mama.

    Mougie would starve is he was paid by the customers. His best bet is to get a salary from Mama.
