A New WiFi Thread

Just to give an update. I ended up at the Central Library and it was really great. Exactly what I was looking for. Upstairs, in one of the sections, they have an area designated for quiet study. There were outlets at every desk and the wifi was surprisingly lightning fast. I sat there with my headphones on and was able to really get a lot of work done with no distractions. This is really a great place to work if you just need quiet.

I also stopped at Ozzies on 7th for a few hours on the way back. Their WiFi charges $6 for a $24 hour period. There were plenty of outlets but not as good as an environment to work as the library.

Can anyone tell me what the wifi situation at the Museum is like? I sometimes need to get work done on Sunday's and with the library being out of commission for the forseeable future I need a good fallback.

It's unfortunate that neither Ozzie's location offers free Wi-fi. Perhaps there's a disincentive to have people linger in there, but on the other hand, the lack of it prevents me from going in there *at all*. (The 5th Ave Ozzie's could stand to upgrade its furniture too, but that's another thread entirely...)
