VANDERBILT PUB CRAWL SATURDAY 2/21 at 6 pm

Come one, come all to the

Vanderbilt Pub Crawl™

this Saturday 2/21 starting at 6 pm.

Updated tentative plan (subject to change based on comments below):

6 pm: Cornelius
7:30 pm: Weather Up
8:30 pm: Beast
10 pm: Barette
11 pm: Soda

Everywhere on the list serves food except Weather Up. We can add more places to the list if anyone has any other ideas, and we can adjust the time if people feel we need to.

*If after discussion, the schedule gets changed, I will edit this post, so you can always check back here for the most up to date plan.

If you haven't met anyone in person before and are worried about finding/identifying the group, PM me and I'll send you my cell phone number.

I'd reverse the order. My palate is less discerning after 6 drinks.

Good point, arches. I considered that, but there are a few factors that led me to order it this way:

1. Weather Up doesn't open until 7
2. I don't want to end the night at Plan B
3. I wanted to leave the most time for food at Beast and Cornelius (especially with Cornelius being my new fave for combined eating/drinking establishments on Vandy)

We could leave off Plan B entirely (which I'd be happy to do, if people think we have enough venues for a proper crawl without it). We could start a bit later so that we hit Weather Up at 7 pm as the second venue. We could also proceed non-linearly between establishments on Vandy, but I was a little worried we'd lose people that way.

I'm definitely open to comments and suggestions.

I definitely think it should start later and Plan B can be optional. Who cares about food during a pub crawl anyways?! :^o

I won't be able to come until 6 or so in any case, so the original plan is fine with me. I'm most interested in those last three spots anyway so that would allow me to visit them in short order. And fill up on flatbread + chipotle aioli besides.

OK, I updated the plan above, to reflect everyone's input.

If everyone can check in with the poll, it will help with the planning (I want to give these places some warning if the group is going to be very large).

Plan B is definitely well named.

So there is no option for "I'm not coming"? 6pm is early. I'll be coming from a beer tasting & snowmobiling trip upstate... may not make it back until 9 or at all...

I don't really care how many people aren't coming. The "poll" is just a mechanism to get an easy head count.
You can join up at any time. Just call or text me when you get back from you trip.
