Mexican Easter party (attn: unreal world people)

Basically, its a party on easter for us heathens who have no family locally or just don't care. There's usually margaritas (hence the "mexican" part) and other misc nontraditional easter food. This is a tradition for me so I'll be drinking a marg regardless but I wanted to gauge the interest level of a get together at my place. Anyone?

I'm the honorary Mexican! WHOO HOO!

Yes Mamacita is the honorary mexican. Sombreros are encouraged. Traditionally this is a potluck, previous years have included: honeybaked hams, chicken wings, nachos, taco bell soft tacos, deviled eggs, KFC, spinach dip, cheesecake, tuna sandwiches, Franzia,8 tubes of pillsbury crescent rolls and mac n cheese.

As you can tell, its a good time.

That sounds like a riot. I voted yes. Can we still have chocolate bunnies?

Yes, there must be nachos!!

Of course I'll bring salsa and I promise not to make it as spicy as the last one. Also guacamole if I can get good ripe avos.

Sweet, this should be good. Some of my friends (who some of you have met, Cho included) will also be invited so we'll see who comes.

I just sent out facebook invites to those of you I have on there, with my luck this will be the one time everyone shows and I'll have 30 people in my apartment haha

Mougar, between you, me and Voodoo we can totally pull off some tader tot nachos! Papi will help prepare, problem is getting Carmen's oven to work.

No dude my oven DOES work!! It runs like 50 degrees cold but it def works...and it loves tots. Just saying.

This event could be hosted by the whynots as a combo "Dude, Mama, Voodoo, and Papi Birthday Party and Easter Irreverance Extravaganza"

...it would solve aforementioned space problem.

I certainly don't want to steal your tradition from you, especially if it involves a large fire to sacrifice a virgin, etc. ...the co-op rules say that bbq is out, even on Easter.

Can I come AFTER church, Carmen? I uisually go to the poconos for Easter for hiking and hot tubbing but all of my friends are broke this year.

Whynot- you're not stealing any thunder! I just want to be able to invite friends of mine as well and I would TOTALLY understand if you did not want them all in your house (they're all housebroken and well behaved, but strangers still.)
