On a related note: People, you have to start wearing deodorant again. Couple of ripe ones on the ride home...

I raise your thousand with a billion.

I drove over the Verrazano today - it was so foggy you could only see a few feet in front of you, and then all of the sudden it was gone. Very weird. I thought it was smoke/fire.

Work. Ugh. Don't even get me started.

I feel horribly guilty complaining about work when I am gainfully employed and many others, including good friends, are not. That said, everyone I know is hating work right now. Too many people losing jobs, so much pressure trying to hang on to the one you have. Really sorry you're having a hard time.

You're assuming they actually know what deodorant is. I'd even accept a spit bath. Summer is coming people. It's called a shower.

I'm in a field where I've always been able to get work quickly. As a result, I've always had the luxury of quitting jobs without even having another lined up, because I could always find another (paying the same amount of $) in 6-8 weeks.

...making me incredibly spoiled, and historically causing me to quit in the Spring so I could start my new jobs on July 1st (new fiscal year...lots of hiring).

Needless to say, such thoughts are very bad for the checkbook in the current economy. Must like job. Must resist urge to quit before I get a new one. Must not be among those laid off. Must be an adult.

mildly sucks. It would certainly suck more to be without a job, but it mildly sucks to be at a non-stimulating one.

Spring, on the other hand, is awesome.

I kind of like it. Makes it seem nicer to be indoors and helps me get work done. I'm at the GAP Library right now, and it's nice being in here when it's raining outside.

I like it , too. I love hearing the rain drop.

Rain is a blessing , dammit. Enjoy it.

I used to go outside and play in it when I was younger and one this one time my mom told me it's time for my bath and I told her "No! I just took a shower outside." I was serious. Ha. It didn't work.

I hear ya about complaining when lots of people don't have a job. I've been through a few LONG stretches with no work. That sucks too. It just shouldn't have to be this hard
