Ithaca Beer @ The Gate Wednesday 04/08 7PM

I walked by The Gate and saw a sign saying they were doing some Ithaca Beer thing this Wednesday at 7PM. I'm going, you should too.

Since I will not be working on Thursday, perhaps I will attend. And bring your stupid housewarming gift that totally slipped my mind to bring on Sunday. Duh...

Does this coincide with their Grateful Dead night they have coming up? If so, I might have to make it another time.

I do find myself liking the Gate more and more as I pop in now and then. I just wish they had a grill on their outside deck.

I was just too lazy to do a quick search on-line. Just looked and it seems their GD night was last Wednesday.

They also sell to locavores in Ithaca, of which there are many.

I almost gorged out in my freshman year. I'll have to try Gorges Smoked Porter.

Sadly no. But if you're going, you should get White Gold. It's a pretty decent wheat beer, and doesn't have any of that silly apricot in it.
