I've been going to Tacos Muertos more lately, mainly for the des nudos style burrito. I like the owners and the feel of the place. I think they mostly do a take-out business. The inside is always empty.

I finally started going here after Sit and Wonder (god I hate that name) opened, and I like it a lot. I have a pretty small stomach, and the kids burrito served as both lunch and dinner for me for $5, no complaints here.

Maybe somebody who eats here all the time can suggest that they drop off menus at Washington Commons or come up with some special menu items like " bar nachos" or a"bar bag". It works for places elsewhere. You have a couple of things that give you a volume of food for five bucks with a fast delivery and NO substitutes and then just walk it across the street. Taco Bell and White Castle both sell garbage but the combination pricing has kept them in biz. They should walk over there with food that nobody ordered and say" does anyone want an order of nachos for 5 bucks?".There will always be a taker. They better hurry before La Pequena puts another good option out there.

agreed, this has become one of my favorite spots for lunch lately. they're turning into a crutch for me. and i mean, it's called the taqueria of the dead. with happy colors.
