Dude-Mougar-Papi-Voodoo-Mama Birthday Themed Madness May 2nd

The context:
Each year, I throw a birthday for my dog "Dude".
His birthday was on April 15th.
Mama and Voodoo were also born on that day.
I did not get my act together to throw a party.
However, because Dude is a dog, he is not aware what day he was born, and does not know that humans decided to number the days that have and will occur.
Fellow dog owners, family members and assorted misfits have attended in the past. This year, Brooklynians are welcome.

The proposed event:
There will be a gathering at the Whynots' apartment in the afternoon on Saturday May 2nd.
Food and beverages will be consumed from approximately 4- 7 pm.
Following the "hat wearing, happy birthday singing part of the event", Dude will join us at Franklin Park ...a dog friendly bar in Crown Heights. This will allow people who don't like bars (I've heard they exist) to ditch at 7 PM. This will allow people who don't like birthday parties, to simply meet us at the bar.

I have rehearsals in the city on the 2nd and 3rd until 5pm, so I'll be there but will be late.

Sounds like fun! Plus I have a $10 dog bone I need to unload (long story).

I had a cat named Dude. He was killed by dogs (long story).

I'm actually working a day shift that day, but will be able to meet up with people for drinks afterward at least.

BTW I know a Great Dane (see avatar) whose 3rd birthday is TODAY.

Oscar is having a party in the park for his birthday (In July). Afterwards, he'll have to carry mommy home.
