brunch in Park Slope?

Sette's brunch menu is far from meager. It's one of the deepest I've seen in the neighborhood. I'm not saying they're greatest restaurant on earth but, considering that brunch does not lend itself to high culinary skill, they give you excellent bang for your buck.

To offer 200 Fifth as a comparison, as in "200 Fifth is better," is......I don't know what to say. I did check them out for brunch once. It was about as mediocre as can be. It's a sports bar.

Totally agree about Sette. Beet salad so yummy, spinach salad good, ricotta fritters mmmmmm, and many options for main dish including smoked salmon omelette, pizza or pulled chicken.

Is there a brunch/lunch place that doesn't get too crowded where you can go with a group of 5 or 6, which includes a toddler?

I don't like being in small, crowded places with a small child, as I'm sure most people at the other tables agree. If anyone has suggestions for a place that is spacious, kid friendly and also has decent food, it would be appreciated.

We bring ours to Miracle Grill, though, we don't have toddlers (youngest is 8). i have seen toddlers there, just don't be one of those people who lets your kids roam around and 'chat' to people at other tables, that drives me nuts

alchemy, when the weather is nicer has a back patio that is perfect for families. They also have large table-seating indoors. (plus you can get beer! with brunch)

Don't know how far south you want, but Tots is on 6th and 11th. Little D is supposed to have good brunch and they are on 7th and 14thish, or how about Kitchen Bar if they haven't closed yet on 6th and 20th?

Kitchen Bar? I just called and they still have answering machine saying they are open. Has anyone else walked by?

pretty sure kitchen bar is closed permanently.

I just called Toby's. I asked "Is Kitchen Bar closed?" She said "Yes, it is not open."
