hi Carmen ... hope your pup is feeling better with all that great home cooking and tlc.

everyone in our household (except one of the two cats) has had giardia at various points.

probiotics are nice once you've knocked out the giardia with antibiotics (flagyl), but they are not a substitute for antibiotics.

don't mess around with this -- in the months it took the gf to get reasonable care (instead of 8 million people just mucking around with her diet) she lost terrifying amounts of weight, not to mention felt like hell and got no sleep bc of the nausea. a week or so of flagyl, all better.
