just did a quick search for the boy i wept over all through my freshman year of high school, on the off chance that there might be a photo floating around, and found out that sixteen years later he is still living in our home town! our podunk, eight-square-mile, one-stoplight town! now i'm so glad he never noticed me. i might have gotten stuck there, too.

Then there was Ryan. 4th grade.I had a huuuuuge crush on him!! He was in my class and so so cute. Baby blue eyes as well and dark brown wavy hair. Of course I was shy so I didn't say anything. Oh well. I was only like 10 yrs old.

I had no real crushes in school during my teen years. There was just guys that I thought were cute but I didn't crush on them cuz there was no way I would ever be able to date them anyway.

tiger beat was still around when i was a giggly preteen in the early 1990s, as was bop. i know because i was constantly rifling through them in the ghetto department store down the street from me and tearing out pictures of damon pampolina (from the new mickey mouse club) for my scrapbook.

dude, you don't know the half of it. in eighth grade i cut school to go to a record store and have damon sign that scrapbook, and the party were the first "band" i ever saw in concert (they were opening for color me badd at an amusement park). when i was 12 and 13, i was pretty sure i was gonna marry that boy. of course, by 14 i had wised up considerably, as evidenced by my original post to this thread.

I must admit I was similarly disappointed when Brooke hooked up with Michael Jackson.

well, i'm not sure how you'll feel about this, but now i feel like i need to tell you that i had a michael jackson action figure, complete with red leather jacket and sparkly glove, that i sometimes took to bed with me when i was six.
