I need some shoes!

I'm a heels girl (or flip-flops), but now need something for comfort with a bit of style due to my ankle.

Anybody come across anything stylish yet comfy that doesn't look like something your grandma would wear?

HALP!

the most comfortable heels i've ever owned are fluevogs, but they might be too high (nothing much lower than 3"). the lily darlings, though, seriously, i could go jogging in them.

I feel ya Flexi! No suggestions from me.

I'm pretty much sticking to sneakers at this point (doc's rec), and it feels like I'll never be in a girly shoe again but I'd rather be on my feet than wrecking them : /

I find Privos to be very comfortable walking shoes. I can no longer do heels or flipflops due to bad knees. Hopefully you find something that works for you. :)

Oh yeah - Liz Clairborne's mules are extremely soft and cushony on the foot but have a hard sole and heel. I think they are called the flex line.

Try going online and looking at the Clarks website for the shoes they sell in England. The US ladies shoes are all pretty ugly, but a girlfriend of mine picked up some really cute low heels and dress shoes when she was in London at the Clarks store.

Also try this place http://www.arche-shoes.com/. They are very european and very expensive, but they have some cute shoes tucked in with some grandma shoes and its like you are wearing clouds on your feet.

I love Clarks for men's shoes. They're comfortable and well made, and although some of them are ugly, they have some cool looking ones too.

I have 5 different pairs of them!

? this is sort of impossible. shoes are very personal, more so than almost any other thing you might put on. i think you were right on with the clarks for utilitarian purposes, like some other people have said. always comfy, if sometimes less than head-turning gorgeous.

curse you, by the way, for making me look at shoes at all. now i am filled with longing.
