E is certainly ignorant about the laws and horribly lacking in common sense but I hope the older gentleman (and everyone on this thread) set E straight.

There is no excuse for racism - it is just the manifestation of ignorance. Those blind kids you refer to - they will never know the color of a person because labels like black, red, brown, yellow or white have no meaning to them. They can only judge a person from what they hear and how they act. Don't fall into the trap. Protect the kids, protect the neighborhood and educate the ignorant.
