Looking forward to trying this. I might stop by this morning.

By the way, your website appears to be all ads with nothing about your coffee shop. Is it not finished?

I went this afternoon and I must say this place is great - just what the neighborhood needed. The coffee was excellent . Also I had a yummy and very moist vegan muffin there (not the out of a package dry kind). They also have baked goods from Balthazar in Soho every day. A minor miracle of a place, on Franklin Avenue. I've been waiting for something like this....

We just stopped by. Everyone in the store was so nice and friendly.

A nice selection of tea, coffee and pastries (and breads). This is a great addition to the neighborhood. I'll try to do my part to make sure they are successful.

    Hello Y'ALL
Its great to see business blooming in the neighborhood.
I wish the breukelen shop well, along with the shop on 805, tony's pulp and bean. Both sites are going to be great additions to the area!

I just tried it; I got a latte and a chocolate croissant. The coffee (Stumptown) was tasty (with regular milk foam). I was surprised to see Balthazar pastries and bread, which is fantastic but not vegan. I hope that continues. The space is nice and comfortable and everyone there was really nice. I'll definitely be back!

    Also, they have free Wi-fi.

Was just there this morning. Great coffee, they do have vegan pastries available but I had a croissant from Balthazar.

Met two of the owners and one of the counter guys, super nice! Will definitely be coming back here.

I walked in and ordered a coffee. Then I left. I drank the coffee with organic nut milk on my home. I felt warm inside for drinking coffee served by an independent vegan coffee shop that is so kind they even serve pastries with dairy products to the less-conscious population of our neighborhood. I read Tao Lin's book while drinking this coffee and felt I should blog about it.

+1, except instead of "less-conscious population of our neighborhood" I'd say "the population of our neighborhood without restricted palates" or to be less confrontational perhaps we can agree on "people with different opinions."

They are SO nice a Breukelen. Also, after a friend introduced me to stumptown coffees earlier this year, I've been hooked. So when I heard that they use stumptown here I ran over to get my fix. REALLY tasty. The first time
I went here the coffee seemed light (a little more watered down than I'm used to) but Ive gone back a few times and it seemed perfect. I'm really glad to have them inthe neighborhood.

I have to say, the grand opening for The Pulp and the bean was awesome! the borough president even stopped in for a cup of coffee while i was there! i was surprised.
Probably the best cup of joe that I have ever had, and the best sweets!
