Today is ASS on the side of the street my car was parked on. I got my ass into my car a few minutes ago and moved it. Across the street. The end.

    Guess what?

    Guess What??

I am signed up for e-mail notifications...

But I called 311 around 9 AM and was notified that ASS was in effect so I got my ASS in my car and moved it like I am supposed to. Got a better spot too.

    Thanks for your advice though.

If I did own a car I'd purchase a set of these http://www.amazon.com/Go-Jack-Vehicle-Dolly-Caster-System/dp/B001W1UFV0/ref=cm_cr_pr_sims_t image
If I was blocked in and couldn't get a hold of the owner, I'd just jack up the car and roll it across the street back to the original spot. Would be funny to see the look on the face of the owner who would return back to their car to find it back in it's original spot with a ticket and that annoying window sticker.
actually you should move it to diagonally block the street and then leave it there... teach the fucker a lesson

Nice idea, but I'm thinking that strategy might be more effective in a flatter neighborhood. How would you prevent the car from rolling downhill once you jacked it up and started moving it?

Now that there is a good point - and imagine how silly you would look running after your car.

you see, you jack up and move the car that's blocking you... if it starts rolling afterwards, well, that's gravity's fault :D

nah, i wouldn't be that mean. But i'm not above supergluing the doors closed.
