Be prepared for long lines in order to sign up in the evenings or weekends. I waited for over an hour to sign up on Sunday and there were actually turning people away because they were at capacity. A few people that were turned away complained that they waited for over an hour on Saturday and were told to come back. When I went for my first workout last night, the line was still incredibly long.

The gym is very basic, but since it is close to where I live, it's great. No showers, no towels. The men's changing room is a small room with four chairs.

My count might be wrong, but I think there are 10 treadmills, 10 ellipticals, 3 bikes, and 1 machine which I forgot to look at. At 7:30pm last night, every treadmill was taken, 2 ellipticals and 1 bike were open. Track was not used much. The track was full on kids on Sunday, so the weekends might not be suitable time for running. Weight room was under used.

I haven't been to the Armory since it opened. Any update on what it's like now that it's been fully functional for a while? Too crowded? Too empty?...etc.

I only go during the day, so the cardio equipment room is not too bad.

I went this past Sunday around 2 pm and the place was pretty empty.

No one doing laps on the track (except me, and I didn't last long ). 4 guys in the weight room. 3 people or so on the cardio machines.

There was a yoga class in progress with about 10 people.

The basketball court was well used, with a couple half court games in progress.

I don't go much, so I don't know if this was a typical Sunday afternoon.
