TONIGHT (Friday - March 19) Impromptu 9pm Ride!

This weather calls for some outdoor activity before your drinking cycle can begin.
Let's do the first IMR (Impromptu Midnight Ride) of the year!

This ride is neither impromptu nor at midnight.
We'll meet at Grand Army Plaza under the arch at 9pm. We'll go around the loop twice and then retire to a bar of the majority's choice.

Pump up your tires and come along!

Lurkers, this thread is constantly re-used to advertise bike rides. You should skip to the bottom to find out about tonight's ride. Otherwise, you'll subject yourself to mindless banter about previous rides.

So Mrs Why and I rode at 9. We didn't know to look for you, so we didn't. Anyway, we probably passed you at the Arch or at the park entrance. Hint: we rode around twice on our vintage mid 90s mountain bikes, both riders slow and wearing helmets.

...people who want to join in on rides should make sure to post on the thread to make sure we look for them.

I own rollerblades, but am a complete disaster on them on anything resembling a hill (the park has some hills)

Unfortunately, a friend of mine that I haven't seen in a while is in town and I'm not sure I can convince her to come. If I can, she'll need to borrow a bike from someone. If not, I will have to miss this, although we can probably still meet everyone for drinks afterward. I know that it's incredibly lame of me to miss an event that I proposed, but I might have to.

LAME.

If we do 9pm, I can do drinks, but I'll not let my steed suffer chains. If it's 10pm, I can ride, but no drinks - don't let me alter plans if more can make it at 10pm, though.

I'll join the chorus affirming Carnivore's lameness.

Now that unpleasantness is out of the way, let's do 9 PM. (this allows me a chance of getting Mrs. Why to join us for at least the ride part.)
