Id like to congratulate RAH on returning from her journey across the 11238 border unscathed.

for future reference, or perhaps as a theme for the next happy hour, billyfleetwood reposted the 86 rules of boozing. I'm surprised at how few of these I follow:

So I got to Soda a bit early, sat down on the back patio, (I had no idea where the DH table was) and decided to eat to squelch my starvation. (OMG - the fish n' chips - delicious).

As the Daily Heights group grew bigger - and louder! - I sat and watched from my unsuspecting table going, "Do I really want to admit that I know these people?"

Ha! Actually, I was beat (from bike riding all day) and after I finished my meal (the blueberry beer was *so good*) I just went home and went to bed. I was too tired to be sociable, too exhuasted to smile, and too full of food and drink to laugh and gab.

But it seemed like you all were having fun!

Wait, were you sitting by the steps on the higher part of the patio? Made eye contact and smiled with the first loser to get there who was sitting alone wondering where the DH people were (that would be me)? Dang, you should have said hi!

Yep, that was me. Black hoodie, pony tail. I saw the smile. Then the hunger overtook me and I gulped down the fish n' chips.

    Nice to 'meet' you, Apollonia666.

Same to you. Next time say hi for real! Don't worry -- I'd never get between anyone and their fish 'n' chips!

By the way, I owe a big public apology to Alafairnadia, who insisted that Jennifer Connelly had once been in a Dario Argento movie only to be repeatedly told to put down the crack pipe by me. No WAY was Jennifer Connelly ever in a Dario Argento movie! I was absolutely certain.

Yeah, turns out I was totally, totally wrong:

    Sorry 'bout that.
