CH Happy Hour: 5/4 at 7:30pm, CAFE 400

Is there going to be a get together for the board in May?

I guess so, the last one was kind of a bust, what with the board being down for the couple of days that led up to it, but we should try and keep it up, especially as there are some new people on the board.

I'd love to make it to one, what day are we thinking?

First Thursday in May (the fourth, next week) at Cafe 400?

Sorry we missed it last time. I'd like to keep it going.

The PH happy hours are also on Thursdays now, so that might affect turnout.

PH is every week. CH is only once a month.

Just a reminder: east of Washington Avenue is Crown Heights.

well, with this kind of notice, we can post something to the PH board on Monday, say, and announce that that week's HH is going to be in CH, rather than PH. we'll post clear directions, etc. we'll probably lose some PH'ers but whatever - the boards need a sense of adventure.

Good idea. Maybe we can have a unified happy hour, but rotate it through crown heights once a month (basically what you said).

I'll be out of town next week, but I would like to go to a CH happy hour -- seems silly that I always head west and never venture east...

Thursday nights are now a bit tight for me, but we'll stop by for at least a beer. Perhaps we'll get dinner to-go and kill two birds with one stone.

hey y'all - if you're still planning to do this on thursday, can you let me know? I want to point the PH folks in the right direction and see how many people we can get to come meet our neighbors to the east.

Hi, I am a new homeowner in Crown Heights and would love to meet others in the nieghborhood and find out what is going on. Can anyone send me some info or tell me when groups meet?

I hope to make it; this week's a bit tighter than the last couple have been but I'm thoroughly enjoying getting to know folks from around the neighborhood, and I'd love to check this place out.

Can the first folks there please put a "DH" sign on the table or something? Last week I was the first one there and didn't know whether anyone else was there until Alafairnadia showed up. And it sounds like there'll be more new folks this time since we're doing the CH/PH joint endeavor!

I have to regretably cancel. I didn't realize that my wife had us booked elsewhere. We both really wanted to come, we missed last month, and now another whole month! I really do like the idea of the joint PH / CH happy hour though!

Looks like we'll be part of the later crew. Just found out that I need to attend something in the city this evening that starts at 7:30. I will however, endeavor to stick my head in upon our return to the hood if any of y'all are hanging out around 10:00pm.

I'm sure there'll be a few of us past 10:00.
