    Does Ladybird still have the "Brooklyn Blackout" cupcake? Chocolate with chocolate pudding inside with a chocolate butter cream frosting and sprinkles? Two Red Hens used to have it.

    I also agree the Downtown Atlantic's cupcakes are great. Their "Hostess" version is a million times better at the same price as the King's.

    I love all the support for a new, local business.

    Are we obligated to support businesses that serve a crappy product? Sotto Voce is a local business too, and their owners might be the nicest people in the world, but since I find their food disgusting, I won't spend my money there. I think that this "all local businesses are sacred" philosophy is really over the top. Everything being equal I am so happy to shop at say, Save on Fifth rather than Target, but I don't feel that anyone should purposely buy inferior products for any reason.
