This new layout, at the moment

hipsters on bikes who think they know it all and want to take over the neighborhood

people that think hipsters and other people that actually have jobs and contribute to society are ruining the neighborhood.

and this new format sucks.

Hipsters do have jobs but how many d.j.s, bartenders, baristi and bloggers do we really need?

This is NYC. ....apparently there is a limitless demand.

BTW, are you sure everyone you are seeing is a hipster? The term is really broad and some of those people might have boring office jobs.

In genereal, hipsters don't wake one up while barking at 3 AM because they can.

Exactly, while you may mistake them for hipsters, they're probably doctors or in finance, or whatnot.

I wish to change my answer.

Today, what bothers me the most is the onset of winter this morning coupled with my lack of hat and a suitable jacket.

i was going to say "people who live in park/south slope coming to the CH board to say silly things," but i'm changing my answer to whynot's plus "the extreme scarcity of warm coats for pregnant women and its predictable effect on pricing, even of used coats."

That reputable newspapers are a dying breed, and I'm blogging about it.

The fact that it's not even 5 pm and it's already dark.

Yep, that's what it means...

people that buy food to go, eat it in their car in front of my building, then dump the remains at the curb even though the basket is 20 ft away

that's based on volume of occurrence -- not severity

The loud music that I hear from outside even though all my windows are closed.

Food and trash that some residents drop on the ground even though a trash can is on like every corner.

The dog crap that lazy people don't pick up.

The dudes that hang outside the Franklin station 24 hours that expect try to pick up every woman that has a pulse.

The music stopped so my rant is over.

Whitefolks who talk loud in trains, planes, auto-mo'-biles, airports, elevators, and behind me when I be walkin'...

I don't care where you've been, where you are goin', or how many sky-miles you have left after this trip. Sheesh...

Agreed Spurn! Oy vey! I could tell you stories! How about when the annoying cell phone rings -- and is answered! -- with a VERY audible "HELLO? Yo, wassup? Nah, you ain't botherin' me, I'm jus' in the movie theater..." And the iridescent glow of the cell phone gives you the outline of the perpetrators head, and then someone says 'Yo, shut the f--- up!' and then the perpetrator says, 'Fu-- you ni---!' and then the first guy says, 'No f--- you!' Meanwhile the movie continues oblivious to the growing chaos, and then the whole theaters starts shushing each other....

There is something about blackfolks and the dark, we just can't keep quiet.

Anyone have a bullhorn to sell or lend me? I'm just about to get loud on neighboring idiots that are clueless about apartment living and voice modulation. Got the sawzall ready to lend the other neighbor but need some defense on this side of the driveway.

I hate it when people give themselves manicures on the train; it's disgusting!
