Hello All,

Well, I saw the Cardiologist today and I will be having Catheter Ablation of the Heart. They will kill off a number of heart cells to block any blood from dripping down in the wrong places. That should help if not cure my A-Fib. Yes it is dangerous and it has a 70-80% success rate. One good thing, when I asked him how many he has performed he said hundreds and then I asked him the mortality rate and he said he has never lost a patient. It is planned for the beginning of December with several tests to be performed in the next couple of weeks.

A little History. Today as you well know is Veterans day. When this holiday was first recognized it was Armistice Day commemorating the signing of the WW1 Armistice. Later when we had more wars they changed it to Veterans Day to honor ALL American Veterans (Even Me!)They tried to make it a Monday Holiday like so many others but Veterans Groups and other patriotic organizations raised hell and the changed it back to November 11th.

Memorial Day was originally Decoration Day and it was a day to Decorate the Graves of those who gave their lives in defense of our Country. The change to a Monday Holiday was successful in this case and many people use it to kick off the summer season.

The important thing is that we honor both those who have served in the Armed Forces at any time, and those who paid the ultimate price in the defense of freedom. God Bless America!!! =DB

Thank you all for asking...the pain is less now. I just hope it stays that way.

Patsy....did you hear anything about the lady who wrecked the chinese take out on 78th and 3rd?? I was there and it was unbelievable!!! She snapped for some reason and stripped off all her clothes in the street and damn near destroyed the place including setting a fire before the cops came...very sad.

Suzie....good for you!!!! I wish I could put up my tree. There is always so much to do before Christmas I feel like I never have enough time to enjoy it.
