I went with Optimum Internet. No TV. No Phone. No installation charge. $29.99 for the first 6 months/$44.something thereafter. Within two days of contacting them, they promised a quick installation. We shall see what happens and will keep you posted on all that they promised.

Best DSL service and support anywhere; call them up and speak to real humans. I was at 3.0 MBps downstream, 786 up, getting about 2.0 down effective (that's sustained download speed of around 330 kbps from Easynews); until recent storm damage to my Verizon line off the back of the building when I had to downgrade my service..

I use Bway.net, and and I love their tech support and the service is pretty good. I think I pay about 60/month for it. Ditto to massive problems with Verizon. It took about five visits for them to get the service installed. Maybe six. It was a long time ago.

i have optimum (internet only) and have been very satisfied. i went away recently and came back and the connection had just vanished. they came out next day and replaced full wiring in the back yard which they said had gone bad. very efficient and timely.

i have had OptimumOnline for almost three years and LOVE it!

I also have that retro phone ear piece for my cell phone in black - haven't used it yet, but I'll be damned if it isn't just the cutest thing!
