Was me. Also forgot to mention that naturally eating the soda-infused Twizzler was the best part.

There was a...meme, I guess, going around on ytmnd and other sites where people would say "so and so had one weakness: stairs!" It made no real sense and was kinda funny just because. It seemed to me that that's what AW was referencing...

    Example: http://profx.ytmnd.com/

ergo, perhaps we both grew up on mars. because if i'd behaved this way when i was little i'd have been taken home and stuck in my room. and more so, my mom would have been gushing with apologies to the woman who was thwacked with the kite.

wonder if they have the "wooden spoon " on Mars as well 'casue where I grew up that's the only threat I needed to hear. you know, don't even think I ever got hit w/ it, just a threat...lol
we NEVER acted out in public. and were taught to be considerate of those around us, i.e. your ass BETTER give up that seat on a bus to the elderly/handicaped.

Nope, he got it right....it's the SPOON!

Well, the new edition of Diary of a Park Slope Mommy is up. It's ok. I see some potential for real humor in her tone, but she's got to get past the required elements subject matter-wise - I mean, "coop" is like the fifth word. We'll see how it goes.

You're being generous. What was that, two whole paragraphs? In which we learn that some Park Slope mothers overfeed their children? Heavy-hitting stuff there.

seems to be rehashing the same old motherhood (park slope) clichés. So far not impressed--but sometimes it takes a bit for someone to hit their stride. When I first had kids I liked Operating Instructions--I remember laughing out loud when I read that--but maybe it was due to a delirious state from lack of sleep?
