The now-closed Dag's on Seventh Avenue once had a sign up, advertising a "Managers Special" -- which they certainly are, but I don't think that was the intended meaning.

But spelling and grammar aside, here's another one-way sign:

    Subject: Bacchus restaurant

I took this while having a drink one afternoon as the sun cast the shadow of the window lettering on the wall. Added bonus was the shadow of the wine press.

    Subject: Brooklyn blue

A sign near the Marine Terminal in Red Hook. Couldn't resist the various shades of blue.

I have loved this sign since I moved around the corner from this little church in Crown Heights.
