Out of curiousity...

How many people here were actually born in Brooklyn?

Myself, I am a native Brooklynite, born and raised.

I'll be you a lot of us know each other and just don't realize it. There's only so many high schools, and downtown BK is a small world. But happily I prefer to keep my anonymity! 8)

What's with the head count? :?
Are we playing Gangs of New York?
Are a bunch of natives going to gather outside the Food Co-op and kick a bunch of non-natives' asses? God, I hope so.

    Not a native. I've lived in 14 cities/towns.
Lived here off and on for the last 20 years.

    BUT....

Every time I'm working on a film set and someone asks one of the cops for directions, they point to me and say, "Ask that guy". (And I know the answer.)

Just a reminder to everyone that the first rule of the site -- which can be read by following the "READ THE RULES" link at the top of EVERY page on the site -- is to be nice. Geez.

O.K.....without cheating, it' parallel to (and south of) Atlantic Ave. Starts somewhere in Brownsville gets interrupted by that pit near Schneider Ave. and peters out at South Conduit. There might be another couple of blocks on the other side of Conduit, but I'm not sure.
