A person should be able to use the "in laws" card to get out of lots of things such as : :-({|=

Jury duty , evictions , misdemeanors , crazed tantrums in grocery store lines, mismatched footwear , unkempt hair , leaving your doggys duty on Eastern Parkway for me to step on [-( etc.

Naw , the last one is unacceptable...If I see someone walking away from their dogs poo (enter flashbacks) I'm kickin' your ass!!!!!!!

Don't be afraid! We won't bite.

Flatbush Farm is a restaurant. The Bar(n) is a bar that also serves food, with a more limited menu than the restaurant (but still very tasty). We will be in the Bar(n).

And you can't use the in-law excuse if for an event that's several days before they're coming! That's still WEAK!

I'm pretty sure that drinking is the only generally accepted way to deal with inlaws. If you start trtaining on Thurs, you should be fine.

I think I can stop by, not sure though.

How are their drinks there? Any drink specials?

From what I remember they mix a mean gin and tonic and their beer selection is solid. For the most part the farm seems to get things right. However, I don't think it is a particularly cheap place to drink. Offhand, I can't remember any specials.

no, they get too unpredictable when they drink -- scooter tries to pick up cats and lilith howls with the jukebox. it's embarrassing!
