I feel like the options suck in Park Slope. Am i wrong? Where can I get some food when I'm drunk?

carnivoreAlbaz, on Flatbush by the 7th Ave subway station. Great late-night cheeseburger! -
lisatk73If you're feeling like spending some money, the kitchen at Blue Ribbon is open really late every night. -

You're kind of right. If you can get to Mango or Smiling Pizza on 7th Ave before 12 AM, you're lucky.
I have had a night or two stumbling around on 5th Avenue looking for that slice of pizza that tastes best when drunk. The only pizzas I ate those nights popped out of my freezer. -
trixienycaren't there 24 hour diners on 7th? close to 9th? Feel like I passed by one yesterday..... -
steveI think the one on the corner of 4th is 24 hours. Smiling is usually open pretty late too. The donut shop is a great late night stop. -
ic96Maybe the Diner on 7th Ave and 7th Street, close to the Hospital? -
danielIf you want a cold, stale bagel, the bagel shop on 5th + garfield is open 24 hours. -
trixienycPurity? Not sure if that one is 24hours (although it sure should be, they have disco fries!) I know there is a smaller, greasy spoon lookin' diner on 7th, near Aveda and BKLYN Industries? -
alafairnadiaAlbaz is 24 hours. if you want a full, sit-down meal, go to Tavern on Dean in PH - their kitchen is open mega late (3 a.m. on weekends, I think). -
brooklynpotterdaisy's is open 24/7, and their pancakes are yummy.

idlewild7th Avenue Donuts by 9th Street and 7th Ave. Open 24/7/365. Perfect for when you're bombed and don't give a shit about what's on your plate. -

Idlewild will not steer you wrong. I've been to Lenny's Pizza 5 times since he recommended it -
parkslopedopeWhen drunk and struck with pizza cravings late at night in Park Slope, I've pounded the pavement and retreated back to my den empty-handed. I do like Mango, but found myself sprinting there one Saturday 5 minutes before midnight, busting through the door Indiana-Jones style to beg for food before they closed. -

The owner's an asshole and his son is worse.

You're not his landlord.

Dee Dee closed awhile ago. A falafel joint took it's place. Now, I believe that place is shut down as well. -
anonymousI know we don't support corporations (sp? - me drunk) but having a DD on Flatbush and St Mark's is really nice

hey, we have a DD on 9th street and 5th ave, (and 2nd ave and 14th street). sadly, chain businesses can take over independent mom and pops' (rite aid, barnes and noble, starbucks, et alia.) but i have to believe there's another side to that coin: more jobs for people here, and more potential customers brought to 7th ave.)
and i won't hit rite aid because of the "emergency contraception" thing (and because their pharmacy staff has much to be desired. like a lack of decency, personality, and following the HiPPA laws and speaking with you about your drugs in a loud public manner) -

Did you mean 3rd & 14th? 'Cause that's my DD, and I can tell you another advantage of chains -- they can afford to operate in places like this where a nice mom-and-pop might not thrive. Based on observation over the last couple of years, I'm pretty sure the drive-thru business keeps the DD on third open, so that it can keep me supplied with sweet, sweet caffeine.

yes, you can get through the drive thru at 15th, which is why i think it's there. i don't happen to love DD coffee, but the convenience of the drive-through when i'm heading to jersey to my mom's (that's pretty much why i'm heading that way, if i'm heading that way) makes me stop every time. -
bripodDD wouldn't be my first pick either, but in terms of convenience, everywhere you go it seems your two easiest choices are that or Starbucks, and I prefer DD to Starbucks.
I think the quality of DD's coffee varies regionally -- I swear, they brew it stronger the further north you go.
