Permit Parking in the Slope?

oh, and just to keep kvetching, I wonder if there's any fairness to the the thought of restricting the number of resident parking permits by household?

In one way its crazy unAmerican to penalize a family for owning a bunch of cars, but I know that on my block, there are households like mine (2 cars total, my family's and my tenants have one) and there are neighbors whose 4 story brownstone consists of 6 adults (owners, adult children, tenants) and everybody has a car.

It annoys me when I know the one house has that many cars on the street, and consequently I'm parking blocks away, but I think thats me being sort of petty or something.
