um, i was joking? and i wasn't calling my neighbors lame. i was simply stating that i don't seem as many people from the neighborhood out as i'd expect to. if i actually thought it was all so lame i would move. now let's grab a beer!

I want to try out these places to, count me in if you end up getting together.

went to Quarter on friday very very late. just the bartender and two other night owls who were quite pleasent to sit down with. i loved the tinyness of it. I forget what beer it was i had but it was a delicious IPA. I'll definitely be returning.

One of Vin Rouge's owners, besides being a wine importer, is also experimenting with oysters fro the Pacific NW. There was supposedly a special tasting (or slurping) session this past Saturday (we were out of town ). Supposedly they may have them on Tuesdays in the future...not sure how often.

Will definitely be there. Me likes the bi-valves, had a doz blue tips from CT on Sat night just 'cos I was missing out!

I suggest next Thursday for a hop from Vin Rouge to Quarter for we Brooklynians! What do you think?

sounds like an idea! this weekend my roommate mentioned atleast three times how he wants to check out vin rouge and quartered on our treks up and down 5th.

actually, i suggested Thursday before checking my schedule. Any other day works, though!

yea now that ya mention it thursdays my band rehearses in hoboken, durrrr. i'm really putting that personal organizer i got to good use.

Does anyone know if Quarter is still closed on Mondays?
