    Thanks so much cat! I called the number on the pigeon rescue site you linked to. A very nice guy named Alan (I think) called me back and helped me. He said considering the situation I did the right thing by bringing the baby upstairs and it was a good sign the parent was checking up on it. From the way the baby looks he should be flying in a day or 2. I forgot to ask what I should do if it rains but I'll probably just bring him inside. I brought him in before when it rained for 2 minutes and put him up on a shelf that the cats can't reach. He kept chirping and trying to fly out of the box though, my dogs were going nuts!

    My 3 legger, Caseopia, loves watching the birds but as fierce as she looks I don't think she would hurt them. She swats at the screen then rolls onto her side like she does when she wants to be petted. It's very cute!
