I disagree with you about "selective moderation"-- which I'm sure you find shocking. Something many users don't know is that we spend a kind of huge amount of time discussing how to handle problems on the site in the fairest possible way. We really do try very hard to apply the rules evenly and fairly, and I doubt you'd enjoy this site very much or even find it usable if there were no moderation at all.

However, it's true that we don't always catch everything; this is a pretty big site and all the mods and admins are volunteers with jobs and lives that don't always make it possible for us to catch every single thing that happens here. We're not omnipresent. And just because we don't necessarily catch every instance of people breaking the rules doesn't mean you get a free pass when we do.

If you have specific examples of things you think warrant moderator intervention and you don't see us doing anything, you should report it in a timely fashion, either by PMing a mod or admin or posting in the "ASK BROOKLYNIAN" forum.

If I earn an undeserved "time out" for this shit, I'll stick my head in a blender with lye, bleach, Pine-Sol, cat shit and that snake head found somewhere in Crown Heights. This is nothing compared to the shit I have said or done on these boards before. My god, if anything the remarks by both King and myself have been restrained at best considering the thread topic at hand.

Over a topic and situation that resolved itself WEEKS ago.

Unfortunatlely today I'm wearing my "No Snitchin" T shirt and unable to Rat out the other Daily Heights violators. However, it pains me deeply to not be able to respond to these threads proportionately to the level of nausea induced.
