rogers_sterlingMy wife and I were walking by Friday night, and the construction site was making all sorts of noise in the wind. It didn't look secure, and there was someone there recording video. Anyone who live near there know anything about this? -

whynot_31edited December 2015When this project began, FCP was required to hire local workers.
In response, it agreed to make one of the buildings composed of modular units and construct them at the Navy Yard. Some people claimed that this would foster similar projects in the future.
Well, I hope they were looking into the distant future, because it seems this method of constructing buildings is economically not feasible to the degree that the Navy Yard facility will be closed once the building is completed.
