Two Saints on Nostrand Grand Opening Friday, March 20, 2015

Two Saints has a website, which states they plan to open on December 1. Probably not happening, but it could be any day now!

Snapped a pic of their construction inside through the window - there's work going on here nearly every day now. (dunno how to right-side-up it) Also, mods, maybe this thread should be renamed Two Saints, so that people can find it more easily?

Also @crownheightster -- looks like they just changed the website to say opening Dec. 31st --- which might be possible!

I hope that the SLA grants the permit before then. As of now, it appears to be still in pending:

BTW, the existence of two LLC's would seem to indicate that they have engaged a few investors.

Did two saints ever appear before the CB to ask for support before applying to the SLA? I know they put themselves on the agenda a number of times and then withdrew. WIll they be ok even if they didn't?

I am not sure if they ever ended up going before the CB; I don't track such things very closely.

The SLA states that applicants must advise CBs of their intention to get a lic before applicaion:

Rumor has it that as soon as they get their alcohol permit, they plan to open.    So, stalkers, watch this link....

I asked MDZ if we could expect a NYE event there and he responded:

Not sure if that means they won't open on the 31st at all or if they just won't be party-ready (liquor license ) by then.

The Two Saints twitter feed said they were open yesterday. Has anyone been by?  

@msboombastic I was walking by yesterday evening and saw that the brown craft paper is still plastering the windows. It didn't look very open to me...

What is the Two Saints twitter handle? I can't seem to find it?

I also walked by yesterday afternoon and saw brown craft paper on the windows.

The link above continues to show the alc lic as pending, and the SLA is very good about keeping their site up to date.

Apologies for the incorrect information!  I was looking at the Saint Catherine twitter feed, not the Two Saints twitter feed.  

I would have taken a wider photo but there was a massive glare if I didnt have my phone right against the window. It is looking really nice though.

I stopped in today.

 As per Mike D and his manager, Two Saints will get its liquor lic on Tuesday, and have its Grand Opening on Friday, March 20th.

I walked by today and it looks really nice inside. They did a great job.

They worked on the place for an entire year, in part because it too so long to get the required permits.     Here's some photos Mike D took today:

As per website, Grand Opening has been reportedly pushed back to, Saturday, March 21th.

Soft opening will still be on Friday, March 20th.
