Does anybody have any idea what this may be?  I was walking by the other day and saw people working on it.  A younger waved to me from inside - I would have stopped and asked then but I was loaded down with groceries.  I don't have an exact address - I will get that tonight.  Any recon would be appreciated.  2015 is shaping up to be the year Southwest Crown Heights comes into full bloom.

1148 Union (at Rogers) is being discussed here: http://www.brooklynian.com/discussion/38573/south-of-ep-235-rogers-at-president-you-might-be-next#Item_36

    Street Addresses are essential...

    355 Rogers, aka 219 Sullivan

It looks like they are going for catering gigs, in addition to take out.

And a bit of dine-in - it looks great inside. Now I can have a quick bite before I go up a few blocks and sip on drinks at The Branch Office.

Yes, Brooklynian seems to only display pictures taken in landscape correctly.

The second one was landscape. I will fix tomorrow. But you get the point - the corner is looking great and I'm digging their sign.

looks amazing! food and decor. But i hope that when their brick and mortar location opens that the Friday hours aren't really just to 4pm.... is there some sort of religious reason for this that i'm missing?

I could be wrong, but I suspect that is a typo.

For clarity, we should ask the owner. I believe this is him:

I ate from Food Sermon tonight -- it was really good. Apparently they had a set-back with a burst pipe last week, but everything is up and running now. The interior is great, and the owner and his kitchen team are welcoming.

Had the chicken bowl with chickpeas and a spicy tomato-coconut sauce. Good sorrel too -- not too sweet.

Now all they need is some yelp reviews!

@lilern - can you change the title of this thread to reflect this place's name?

I've walked past this place a few times..it looks cute. Am I the only one who sees the name and pictures a vegan/locavore/organic/fair-trade/etc. person lecturing someone about their food?!
