Audiophiles in Prospect Heights?

Oh, and I don't wanna sound like too much of an advertisement, but we just became an Escalante dealer - this was pretty much based solely on an audition of the Fremonts. They're not realistic for 99% of the people out there ($, space), but they certainly are different and note worthy.

When? Early January is looking more likely for me.

My NAD finally got fixed so it looks like I'm not getting into valve-driven 2-channel after all.

Doc - nope, don't carry 'em and I haven't listened to 'em. I only know that they're generally regarded as being pretty good performers and pretty decent values.

I like mine. Like any purchase that matters: I'm looking for much better than average consumer-level performance at not too much more than consumer-level prices.

That's the sad part - most people don't know that there's anything better out there, so they blow their hard-earned cash on crap at BB, CC, etc...
