As an avid non-professional photographer living in Brooklyn I find there to be an overabundance of photographic subjects and people in Brooklyn. For all of the Brooklyn photographers out there, lets discuss our favorite locations and photographic hangouts.

A VIEW FROM PIER 17 OCT 2008I snapped a couple of shots of the Brooklyn skyline on a visit to Governor's Island (worth checking out, incidentally).

And the view from here totally makes me want to get out to the Red Hook area for some industrial pics ...For those of you unaware, today is the last day you will EVER have the pleasure/displeasure of driving your car along Fifth Avenue from Flatbush to Atlantic. ....The road will be closed on 2/1/10. These folks are were among the last ones.
