Great Small Works is making plans for our Eighth International Toy
Theater Festival and Temporary Toy Theater Museum, which will take
place May 23 through June 1 2008 at St. Ann's Warehouse in Dumbo. We
strive to juxtapose performances that embrace paper theater's
classical, historic style with new experimentations with the form.

There are a limited number of performance spaces available, but we
want to involve as many people as possible; our goal, as always, is
to create a diverse, inclusive and colossal event. In the festival
context, 20-30-minute pieces are ideal. Additionally, we are looking
for shorter pieces to be presented in a carnivalesque evening of
small-scale puppet performance.
