John McCain - Loving Husband

I'm in serious thrash McCain mood today - thought you'd like to see some under-reported stories on this guy...

  • I know this fact to be true.

Wonder why the press leaves it alone?
  • I thought it was fairly common knowledge. Maybe because he's been around so long, and run for office so many times, we don't see this failure of character every day in the campaign news?

    Because it isn't important.

Now, look -- we on the left who supported Clinton complained about how the folks on the right were making a huge deal out of Clinton's shenanigans. Why is it now okay for US to be doing the same to a REPUBLICAN candidate?

It didn't make a damn bit of difference when Clinton was under scruitiny, and it doesn't make a damn bit of difference now that it's McCain under Scruitiny. For any of us to complain about the "vast republican right-wing conspiracy" and then to turn around and do the same damn thing back to a Republican candidate is hypocritical.

Yeesh. Sometimes I feel like wearing a "get off my side, you're making me look bad" t-shirt.
  • queencallipygos, I think it's because they're such a bunch of hypocrites. They point fingers at everyone else but look at the shit they've done. They don't practice what they preach and I think it pisses people off.

But aren't you afraid that in doing what they do to point out their hypocrisy, that YOU could be accused of hypocrisy yourself?

Oh yeah, I'm not saying we should do what they've been doing. I just think that's why some people get pissed.
