Democrats vs. Democracy: The eternal liberal conflict — Brooklynian

Democrats vs. Democracy: The eternal liberal conflict

As a registered independent, I am watching this Democratic nominee drama play out like everyone else. I may get hammered on this board for this, but the obvious must be said.

I can't help but think that the Democrat(ic) party (and by default liberal ideology in general) is really screwed up and the screwiness is coming now coming full circle to hurt the very people who invented it.
Here is what I mean.

The concept of deciding when rules can be followed and when it is okay to break them when it serves you (Michigan and Florida going against the DNC's ruling and holding votes anyway)

The concept of not having a real, true "winner" and "loser" have have long been a part of liberal ideology and plays out in Democratic contests (why not winner take ALL delegates in a state like in the general election or a guaranteed percentage 75%-25%, etc.?). Why all the intricate, complexities and undecided crap leaving everyone scratching their heads. Who won; who lost?. Period. Is it telling that no one is reporting the same number of actual current delegates for each candidate. Every media source varies on the count. Leave it to Democrats and liberals to make it impossible to tell the real score in a contest.

Is this a foreshadowing of how liberals and some Democrats see the world: All things are really equal and moral equivalencies:
e.g., "Bush is just as evil as Hitler", etc....who can argue with that logic??
It can't be "proven" so it must be right! Just like no one can say for sure who is ahead in the Democratic nominee process.

The idea that voters need to be saved from themselves (the democratic creation of ......"Super (Duper) Delegates") because Democrats know what is best for you - and you voters don't. When it becomes clear that you, the voter, start to look like you are going to "hurt" YOURSELF, the good old (appropriately chosen people of course) Democrats will step in and make the decision FOR you. They are their to save you, understand?
Republicans don't have Super delegates, the contest is decided on the night of the vote. Interesting concept.

Why so many delegates needed to win a democratic Nominee? Why not the same as the Republicans? Does the other team need more opportunity or time on the clock to "catch up" to be fair?
Republicans need 1, 191 Delegates
Democrats need 2,024 Delegates to win.
A difference of 833. Christ.
Why? Any explanation is bound to be complex, long, convoluted and therefore, by default, Democrat-like. So don't even bother.

Am I the only one who sees the connections between the Democrat/ Liberal ideology and the confusion and silliness of the current Democratic nominee process? How did it get so screwed up?

Shoot at will!!
