Benches on Plaza St. East... were they stolen?

Anybody else notice there were a few benches missing from Plaza Street, between Butler and St. Johns?

I wonder if they were stolen.. or was there removal connected to the Meier building?

Maybe they are replacing them with newer ones to please the Meier building. I doubt that they were stolen, but I guess you never know.
