poets, writers, photogs? — Brooklynian

poets, writers, photogs?

I have been considering creating an online e-zine of submitted poetry, writing and photography, possibly somewhat local (NYC/Brooklyn-oriented, not as micro as ProHo), or possibly not local at all. But I thought this was as good a place as any to start finding recruits. Would anybody this community would be interested in contributing to such an endeavor by submitting your work, if such a venue existed?

    that sounds sorta like what theyre doing over at http://www.citynoise.org...
  • similar, but seems focused on, in their words "stories, narratives and/or photos about favourite cities, hometowns, travels, or current locations.";

    i'm really looking to post all sorts of art on a variety of subjects, not just locales, but am considering limiting submissions to people who live locally to Bkln or NYC; there are tons and tons of zines like this on the web; this isn't an original idea. just something i've been wanting to do, and i'm feeling out the local vibe about it.
  • Ok, apparently, I'm three years late with this, but if you're still interested in doing this (or have and are looking for more activists), let me know.
