considering my last several crappy meals there? no. -
That's true. I ate there the first week they were open and it was awesome. But based on subsequent visits, we were given the royal treatment that first time: double portions, focus and attention on the food and the customer that hasn't been repeated. Still, sometimes a place is better at delivery than in house so I was curious.

I haven't been going as regularly as I used to, but I still haven't had a regrettable meal there...

They had different chef when they first opened. I didn't get to try it before the change, but it supposedly went downhill after the original chef left. -
I cannot eat their food anymore, it's too spotty for the money.

went to the bar once-there seemed to be only one bartender and he chatted a lot with other patrons and it was really busy. They should have put another bartender back there. It took forever to get a drink It took 20 minutes to get our oysters from one end of the bar to where we were sitting. I saw them sitting on the other end of the bar for 10 minutes. I went over to the bartender to get them- took another 5 -10 minutes to get his attention and for him to bring them. I was so pissed. We were dropping a bunch of money and crappy service is like that is not ok. And you really shouldn't let oysters sit.

the bar food is pretty great there, in my opinion. But yeah, I've noticed that the bartenders can be a little inattentive. It can seriously take 5-10 minutes to get their attention if you're sitting and the end of the bar and they're having a conversation. That's annoying, to say the least.
