7 train death last weekend
oh also i saw a subway death on the 7 train last saturday (or sunday?). i think what had happened was that a man fell in, or jumped. a big crew of mta workers was going up there with bottles of bleach and mops, the whole thing was roped off, and the trains were all delayed. when we finally got to go up and cath our train about 30 minutes later, we saw mta workers putting sawdust on the tracks and looking around them with flashlights. they were like, "okay, i think that's it..." . there were also police detectives there questioning everyone, and news cameras- although i guess the story never broke? i think it happens all the time... every time my train is delayed on the way to work i think, maybe someone died... and then i get annoyed with all the complaining commuters who should put things in perspective!
