Knit Your Ass Off In May!
Hello Prospect Heightizen,
The month of May marks the end of Knit PH, the indoor sessions. But this summer Knit PH takes it outdoors. Starting in June 2008, we will be knitting at the Brooklyn Museum sculpture garden and the Prospect Park picnic house. We will keep the usual Freddy's bar slot (Every 3rd Sunday), but will take a summer break from Prospect Perk and Maha's. We'll return to our regular indoor schedule in the fall.
Crocheters are welcome and men are encouraged, but bring your own sunscreen and bug spray. Also at some point in summer, Archie (Park Slope Knitting Circle) and I (Knit PH) will host a big-ass knit-pic-nic.
To RSVP for Knit PH go to http://knitting.meetup.com/1331. It's FREE! For those of you on Ravelry.com join the Knit PH discussion group. For those of you that cross Flatbush also check out the Park Slope Knitting Circle on MeetUp.com: http://knitting.meetup.com/937.
