  • Did it look like a street thing (accident) or was it in or around a particular address/storefront?
  • in front of that grocery store there
  • I was walking to Met when all this went down. A man stabbed another...I saw the stabbed man, standing, seemed coherent, but his white shirt was bloody. People nearby were saying there was a fight, a possible attempted robbery. I did my shopping (gosh that sounds wrong), and when I came back out, another man (not the stabbed man I saw) was cuffed and being put in a police car. That's all I know.

Holy shit! I hope the dude is ok! At least it seems to have been investigated (judgling from the guy in cuffs). What an awful thing. I'm at Met several times per week and to think this happened around there is disturbing. I've had nothing but friendly experiences on that block.
  • What time was this happening?
  • Was just two knuckleheads fighting over nothing. I think the guy who got cut in his back, caught it from a fall against the metal planter border around the treet they were wrassling around. It was like 5:30- so many aghast faces, hand to mouth. Was like no one had seen a fight before. One man was with gfriend and child. A damn shame.
  • Later in the vening a car service seemed to spontaneously combust on Vanderbilt and Bergen. A fireball. All-in-all a Mad Max kind of day in the neighborhood.
