INTERGENERATIONAL

A visual conversation between established, mid-career, and emerging
artists

May 3 until June 28, 2008

"Intergenerational", curated by MLJ Johnson in collaboration with
exhibition consultant Che Baraka, brings seven emerging, mid-career, and
established artists together in a visual conversation on their artistic
journeys from the moment they first entered the scene to their current
projects. The following artists explore the pursuit of a professional
career in the arts, experimenting with process and technique to seek
their unique, yet recognizable and visually compelling style:

artistic development of the community. This mission is deeply rooted in
Restoration's commitment to improve the quality of life for residents of
Central Brooklyn by strengthening the local economy, family life and
culture.
