HOWDY CAROL: WHAT COLLEGE IS PETER GABRIEL "the pill" ATTENDING? I REMEMBER BEFORE WE MOVED TO NEW JERSEY THIRTEEN YEARS AGO, HE WAS SUCH A CUTE AND QUIET BOY. LORI-ANN HAD THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BARBIE COLLECTION AND SHE STILL LOOKS LIKE A BARBIE DOLL! I STILL REMEMBER OUR TRIP TO LANCASTER...YOU ODERED YOUR AMISH QUILT AND PURCHASED AN ANTIQUE TREASURE CHEST. ANGELO STILL LAUGHS ABOUT THE ICE INCIDENT AT THE BIRD-IN-HAND FAMILY INN. PETER AND ANGELO WERE TRYING TO GET ICE FROM THE MACHINE FOR OUR COOLERS. WE LAUGHED SO HARD THAT WE CRIED!

Carol - Nancy made chicken soup last weekend. Came out great! I just finished making home made roasted peppers! Fresh garlic and parsley. It is not fermenting in the refrig. Have a lot of rain today and the temperature is pretty warm. I had a fire going last weekend but not now. Too warm.
Ralph - Saturday night is good. I have to get together with Ralph Marsella one weekend. We're going to edit and add some stuff from the band. Add some new acoustic guitar parts a little piano, strings and maybe overdub on the vocals. So I can hit your house on Saturday day or night and shoot over to Marsella's house on Sunday.
Frannie - Passed by your house (230 - 20th. St.) on Friday. Not the same but a lot of memories on how the neighborhood use to be.
COFFEE POT - if anyone is interested, you can get the stainless steel coffee pot with the glass bulb on top from WALTER DRAKE's MAIL ORDER. That is all from Saratoga Springs NY for now... -
On the fermenting peppers. It is NOW fermenting. Not it is not fermenting. Can't type like I use to.

So nice to see you on, stay for awhile. Some days I just read, some I reply, and then some you can't shut me up :-#
In either case it is a great site, bunch of nice people, fun, interesting facts, like where to get the best Jelly Donuts, coffee, coffee pots, cookies, recipes and the best is WHERE TO FIND OLD FRIENDS :pr: :pl:
Peter goes to Monmouth University. Just like Lori they don't stay cute & quiet !! Remember that Antique chest, it had the label inside when there were only like 30 states. I gave it to my nef. Jason who gladly took it. I know he will treasure it.
I just look at those hotel pictures & I crack up,yes.... lots of laughs with you guys. Imagine if we meet again Lancaster. MeL was saying she still goes & we should meet. Bet Peter's eyes will still hit the windshield ,more so if it rains on the trip.

"Christina Donnie showed me all the wonderful memories posted and had a great time at the reunion. I was trying to post a link that a friend has. She posted a tribute to Donnie written by his friend Dave and read at the funeral. Could you pass it along via the Brooklyn Back when site?

BOB HORAN When I freeze my soup I do it without the vege's whole instead at the end when they are all very soft I take some of the (celery 2pcs.,onion tiny pc. ,lots of carrots 6) I puree them all in some soup broth,(no lumps) then pour them back into the pot. The soup winds up with a fantastic color to it & taste. I do leave some of the vege's whole along with the puree when the soup is first eaten. (great way to fool kids who don't want thier vege's (my husband ) LOL
Also near the end you can add potatoe or mini meatballs (you put them in raw )
I always have chick soup in the freezer.
Anyone can do this with thier own recipe. Pour that over rice or tiny tiny shell pasta, sprinkle some grated cheese & let it melt yummmmmmm.
I will email it all if you want. Did you ever make chicken soup ? -

HERE IS A RECIPE FOR CHICKEN SOUP. MY FAMILY LOVES WHEN I COOK THIS :
INGREDIENTS:
SKINLESS CHICKEN. (I ALSO PREFER BONELESS CHICKEN).
8-12 PIECES (ENOUGH FOR APPROX 4 PEOPLE)
CELERY, CARROTS, ONIONS, POTATOES, SALT AND PEPPER.
I ALSO ADD 2 LGE. CANS OF CHICKEN BROTH AND 2 CUPS OF WATER.
BOIL ALL INGREDIENTS FOR 1& 1/2 HRS. POTATOES GO IN POT LAST 40 MINUTES. I CUT POTATOES IN QUARTERS. ALSO, I ADD PARMESAN CHEESE 10 MINUTES BEFORE I REMOVE FROM STOVE AND SERVE. GREAT WITH RYE OR ITALAIN BREAD DIPPED IN THE JUICE OF THE SOUP. ENJOY! -
I ALSO HAVE A GREAT "COLD CEREAL" RECIPE. I LIVE AROUND THE CORNER FROM A RESTAURANT CALLED NATURE'S. GRILL GOOD FOOD SERVED THERE. I KNOW ONE OF THE WAITRESSES AND SHE GAVE ME THE INGREDIENTS TO THIS COLD CEREAL. THEY SELL THIS FOR ALMOST $4.00 A CUP.
USE A 14-16 OZ. CUP (I USE A PLASTIC CUP LIKE THEY SERVE IN THIS RESTAURANT)
FILL CUP HALF WAY W/QUAKER OATS 'UNCOOKED'
ADD SOY MILK PLAIN OR VANILLA FALVORED/ POUR MILK A LITTLE PAST THE CEREAL IN THE CUP
ADD 1 TEASPOON OF HONEY, SLICED BANANAS, SLICED STRAWBERRIES.
LEAVE IN REFRIGERATOR OVER NIGHT AND YOU HAVE A DELICIOUS BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING
ENJOY

WELCOME BACK !!!
You have alot of reading to do!! ENJOY -
Carol: Please don't send me any recipes, just cook the stuff for me and then send it, lol. Don't forget the roasted red peppers and throw in some Italian Cookies from that bakery you didn't tell me about.
See if you can over night it. Just break everything up into single servings so I don't have to do it myself. OK, to make it easier on you, do double servings, lol. If you have time,, run out to Queens and get me some chocolate covered walnuts from Schmidts on Jamaica Avenue. 4 pounds will take me into next year !!! -
Welcome back Terry. You should have taken me with you !!!!
